Topic: Generated greyscale image gets displayed with alphanumeric noise...?

Hi everyone,

I've just written my first quick'n'dirty IA plugin, which generates a 2d greyscale map derived from an input image. It works OK, except that IA displays the generated greyscale image with (what I can only really describe as) overlaid alphanumeric noise, a bit like Conway's Life drawn with ASCII art.

However, if I save the image (as a PNG) and reload it, this alphanumeric noise disappears: is there something I'm doing wrong inside the plugin? I derived it very trivially from the example on the website. Hopefully this is a well-known problem... :-o

Cheers, .....Nick Pelling.....

What you see is probably a mask selection! Try using the selection brush on the result picture to see what I mean. The selection is taken from the Options member of the TImageContainer so you will need to set Image.Options = NULL;
