Topic: Error message "Stack overflow." after closing Image Analyzer 1.35

It looks that the settings are not written because the language and other settings stays the same.
Other things seems to work, only when closing the program this error happens.
I use the Analyzer.ini file but when i remove this the same error still happens.

Hm, annoying.
Could you see which messages are in the Help|Plugin load status dialog?
You could try to delete some of the DLLs in the ProcessingPlugins folder to see if it is related to one of the plugins.

Re: Error message "Stack overflow." after closing Image Analyzer 1.35

Hello,
I have the same message after installation of the version 1.35.

It looks like it is related to DotNetPluginWrapper.dll because the error doesn't show when i remove this file.

Do you have .net 4.0 installed? That will probably solve the problem, but of cause IA should handle the error better.

Re: Error message "Stack overflow." after closing Image Analyzer 1.35

Hello,

I don't have NET 4.0
It looks that I have 2.0 SP2, 3.0 SP2, and 3.5 SP1.

Re: Error message "Stack overflow." after closing Image Analyzer 1.35

Checked, i have 1.1 to 3.5 SP1
( I think 4.5 is the lasted version )
Removing DotNetPluginWrapper.dll works also for me.

I get other errors from the plugins but i think they are related to my old system smile
JasPerLib.dll code 998
msvrt110.dll code 127
sofar i have no problems with that.

Re: Error message "Stack overflow." after closing Image Analyzer 1.35

I just tried to run IA on some old computers with Windows XP and 2k and none of them gave this problem.
Could you perhaps tell me what error message DotNetPluginWrapper.dll gives in the Plugin load status dialog?

Put the dll back and checked the load status:
DotNetPluginWrapper.dll - RegisterPlugin: External exception E0434F4D

Re: Error message "Stack overflow." after closing Image Analyzer 1.35

I haven't been able to find out exactly what an error code E0434F4D means, but I found the following post which indicates that reinstalling .net could solve the problem:
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums … c3f219246/

In this case it should be .net 4.0 minimum to get the full functionality of the plugins.
