Topic: download gives "Redirection limit for this URL exceded"

When i try to download InageAnalyzer 1.36 from http://www.fosshub.com/Image-Analyzer.html then i can't download it, gives the redirection limit error.

Note:
I did not test it but could this be something? http://www.filesplat.com/
This sounds prommising: allows UNLIMITED direct-linking - no download pages or waiting times!

The download should be working again.

Re: download gives "Redirection limit for this URL exceded"

The problem persists. The download server redirects to http://www.fosshub.com/faq.html.
Deleting cookies or changing referrer does not help. Is there a different option to get lates version?

Re: download gives "Redirection limit for this URL exceded"

I tried it now and it redirects to http://mirror3.fosshub.com/programs/ImageAnalyzer.exe
The second time it used http://mirror2.fosshub.com/programs/ImageAnalyzer.exe
Perhaps a temporary problem on fosshub?
Can you download it now?

Re: download gives "Redirection limit for this URL exceded"

I tried several weeks ago and hoped the problem would be remedied by time. I followed both of your links: no success, I am forwarded the FAQ page all time.

When I search the fossub webpage I find this link:
http://www.fosshub.com/Image-Analyzer.html
Even if I follow it I am presended with the FAQ page.

Re: download gives "Redirection limit for this URL exceded"

This is the reason, from the FussHub faq page:
"- you or someone else disabled the HTTP Referrer from your browser so you have to enable it."
I disabled "Send HTTP referers" on my K-Meleon browser and got redirected the faq page.
So i guess you should ( temporarily ) enable HTTP referers to download from FossHub.

I've tried it from different computers and browsers, and it seems to work everywhere for me

Re: download gives "Redirection limit for this URL exceded"

Now I was successfull as well, thanks for help!
I assume when once I got the redirection to the FAQ page my IP number is listed on a blacklist and I am excluded. This time I switched the referrer on before I visited the site.
