There is no documentation except for the internet help site you can open from the help menu.

Yes, when "All planes" is selected the pixel count values are the sum of R, G and B. Showing a percentage will usually give very small values <1% which I don't see much use for. When you have the exact values you can calculate the percentage easily or you can calculate any other value you might need.

In the "Color balance" dialog you can see histograms for the three planes at the same time, but in smaller size though.

Of course, I can calculate everything manually!

Nevertheless, it would be great that IA could calculate it automatically...

Does IA offer any other possibilities of automation for such a calculation?

I version 1.31 you can click the "Pixel count" label in the color mapper and enter the expression for calculation you want performed.
