Topic: Release 1.23 will not copy to Vista clipboard

The only way I can get diagrams out of the program is by exporting complete pages, copying them into a word processor and then printing hard copies. (I did have the unable to print more than one page problem but the Beta release has fixed that - thanks.)

Which program did you try to copy to? Did you try copying to other programs, e.g. Paint?

It you are pasting to Word, try to use Paste special and paste as Enhanced metafile

Re: Release 1.23 will not copy to Vista clipboard

I contribute to the Meesoft forum as Woodcatau.

I am a spiritual healer. I treat people, animals, plants and places.  I use Diagram Designer to set out my healing 'scripts' each of which is several pages long and contains numerous images (not flowcharts) and texts. Mainly I use Paint Shop Pro, Irfanview and FastStone Image Viewer as well as Diagram Designer's features in their preparation.

I have been using Diagram Designer for several years. It is the best program I have found for mixing images and text the way I do. Before the current version the only problem I had was that DD would not accept text copied from Open Office (I don't use Word) but I could live with that. Now it will not copy anything to the Vista clipboard nor will it print output except as single pages. I thought I had resolved the printing issue with the Beta download but it only worked a little time. I am not modern computer-savvy, the only way I can think of solving the problems is to go back to a previous version.

It seems strange that the printing fix "only worked a little time"...
Try installing the latest beta. You should see the version number 1.32.5 in the About dialog.

Please let me know if it solves the problems.
