[OK.. Let's try to remember what I wrote and resubmit it.]

I tried to compile v1.20 with XE2.

Much of it went fine (I needed to install a few components, for example), I got it to compile.

But, it doesn't run properly.

It keeps telling me, for example, "A component named Splitter2 already exists".

It doesn't really mean anything sensible, because the same message comes up even when you rename Splitter2 to Splitter3 or something else.

Then, you get "A component named Splitter3 already exists"

To me, that means I have to solve a deeper problem but given the size of codebase, it appears to need more time than I can spare.

Another thing is, shoudln't there be a common .inc file somewhere?

I mean, a cursory search turns up a number of custom compiler defines, such as,

-- UseStyleForm
-- FloatMapFileSupport
-- EnableInlining
-- ImageDLLDebug
etc.

Where are all these (and more) defined?

In short: Has anyone managed to compile the sources with XE2 and run to see work properly?
