Topic: Crash on exit on Windows XP SP3

I just want to report that the latest version (1.36.1) of Image Analyzer that I just downloaded today after re-visiting the page after a long time (before that I was still using very outdated version 1.25) always exits with "Stack overflow." error. Nothing serious though, but I just thought to let you know.

I even opened Analyzer in Dependency Walker program and profiled it (to maybe find the cause) and the process was closed automatically (i.e. without first showing and me closing it in the GU) because of "Second chance exception (Access Violation)", and seeing the last called functions called I am pretty sure it has something to do with "mscorwks.dll" file (which is "Image Ver" 8.0 and not "5.1" as most of other MS libraries, but then again this might mean nothing at all...) and non-existing procedures in it.

By the way, in my case there're 3 different "mscorwks.dll" files under 3 directories, and each one is different from the other two.

Thanks for all the work to the author of this program (and others; I was using Commander for quite some time on Win 98 back in the days)

Best regards, satyr from Slovenia

I think it's the same as this one: Error message "Stack overflow." after closing Image Analyzer 1.35 http://meesoft.logicnet.dk/support/view … hp?id=4157
If you don't want a newer dot.net 4 or don't need the dot.net plugins you could delete the DotNetPluginWrapper.dll

Thank you very much Fred (and sorry for the delay; I did check out "Stay subscribed to this topic" but got no e-mail of any replies), that indeed solved the problem!

Again thanks and greetings to all, satyr
